Our Commitment to Health & Safety
Our recognition and commitment to Health & Safety seeks to reduce the risk of injury to our workforce, fellow contractors from other companies and importantly other persons such as the general public, our client’s workforce/visitors and our clients themselves whilst on site.
In striving to deliver our important commitment to Health & Safety, Simply Thatch are fully SSIP approved, via the much coveted SMAS Worksafe Accreditation. As an SSIP approved business we have evidenced our credentials in holding valid certifications, conducting appropriate training, as well as applying policies and procedures that meet the stringent requirements of the SSIP’s Core Criteria.
SSIP & SMAS Accreditation
All registered members of SSIP are required requalify every 12-months to continually meet the required standards and advancements in Health & Safety legislation, along evidence compliance with the latest best practice to maintain their SSIPs & SMAS Accreditation year on year.
In the event of a Health & Safety issue or event, as part of our SSIPs requirement, we are able to call on expert assessors and Health & Safety guidance 365 days per year to ensure all matters are managed correctly and swiftly.
Our Clients recognise the importance of SSIP, enabling Simply Thatch to work on larger commercial projects or multi-contractor projects or domestic properties, having met the high standards in Health & Safety and Compliance required.
Simply Thatch are proud to continue leading the Thatching Industry with our commitment to Health & Safety standards and compliance. On request we are more than happy to showcase examples of our recently completed RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements). Similarly our Health & Safety Policy, SSIP membership and SMAS Worksafe Accreditation can be provided on request.
